It should be something that will keep your readers engaged for the entire trilogy.

 

2. Plan out your books. Before you start writing, break down your story into three separate arcs. Each book should have its own set of characters, plot points, and themes. This will help you stay focused and ensure that each book is distinct and enjoyable.

 

3. Introduce your characters early. You want your readers to be invested in the characters from the very beginning. Introduce them in the first book and then continue to develop them throughout the trilogy.
